These terms govern your use of Notewright (the “Service”). By creating an account you agree to them.
You’re responsible for keeping your password and encryption passphrase secure. Because sync is end-to-end encrypted, we cannot recover your passphrase or your synced notes if you lose it.
Don’t use the Service to break the law, infringe others’ rights, distribute malware, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to our systems. We may suspend accounts that do.
Your notes are yours. We claim no ownership and grant ourselves no licence to read or use them — and technically can’t, for synced content. You’re responsible for what you store.
Free plans are provided as-is. Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel anytime and retain access through the paid period. Prices may change with notice.
We work to keep the Service reliable but provide it “as is,” without warranties. Because Notewright is local-first, your notes remain available on your devices even during a service outage.
To the extent permitted by law, Notewright Labs is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.
We may update these terms; we’ll post the date above and, for material changes, notify you. Continued use means acceptance.
